Me and my boyfriend of 3 yrs finally moved in together in Feb, and he expects me to be like his mama doing everything for him. Damn boy can't even order a pizza for himself. I do everything to save us from fighting, his excuse is I know how to talk and handle things. He's never done anything sweet except for put the 2 thousand down for my car after crashing it but he even crashed my new 2007 car! I think I've only gotten 1 single rose in 3 yrs. We work at the same job, same hours, same days off but he's always playing the xbox360! How can I get this boy to grow up and do something for me?

Girl... you should have bought him a driving game for that X-Box... OK, let's get serious, sit him down and explain what you want in this relationship, what you expect from him, what you are contributing and what you won't tolerate. (in gentler terms). And, as he changes, reward him for his efforts. However, in the real world... he's gonna resist, maybe change for a moment and revert back, or maybe even resent the fact that you can't accept him for who he is. My guess is that your gonna still try to help this grown man grow up. I've been there; just be careful because your heart is involved. Be aware of the facts which are, he's lazy, manipulative and a bit selfish. Now if you wanna be in a relationship with that person then you got it!! If not, your gonna have to kick him to the curb and jump into a new ride.
