Check it. I have been seeing someone on and off for 4 years and we have a child together. There are times i don't want to be without her, but most of the time I can't stand to be around her. There is a 5 year age difference between us and i can't hang out with my friends without her getting upset and cussing me out. Then she calls me every 5 mins and wants to know every move i am making and why i haven't gone to go see her. I mean it feels like i am dating my mom almost. Hell please tell me what the hell i should do. I don't want to hurt her but i try to deal with it most of the time for the sake of our child. Kids are great, but never a great reason to hang in a relationship. Believe me, a child at the earliest age can sense when things just don't add up. Having a great, friendship with their mom is important, and that means communication and respect, on both parts. Now...can I keep it real with you? Good... If you wanna be single, cool, let her go and be a great dad to your kid, but if you wanna be in a relationship, you're gonna have to make some sacrifices. Now, I don't mean you have to let go of everything you love and wanna do, but hanging with the boys is gonna be limited. I know, I know... she still acting crazy tho... well, you're gonna have to talk to her too, and set some ground rules. Oh... don't forget you have to include her in your life too and don't forget about your changes. In summary, you layed down and came up with a child, so be a man, buck up and bench your boys for a moment.
